To prevent warping, cracking and/ or fading of your cutting board, please NEVER!
- soak your board in water or in dishwasher machine
- expose for a long time to sunlight or extreme temperature;
- put a wet board without legs flat to dry. If the board dries on one side, it might cause the wood to warp;
- use bleach because this will stain the wood and/or excessively dry the wood;
- ignore simple care instructions.
Instruction
Hand wash with warm soapy water, after hand wash wipe down your cutting board with a dry microfibre cloth or towel immediately to keep the board dry thoroughly after cleaning before storing.
Apply mineral oil / wax* as needed to keep “oil shield” which will keep wood in good condition that extend the board life and revitalize the look of your board.
For stains and odours, use lemon juice and baking soda: apply and rub the wood with a damp cloth, rinse, dry, and apply oil or wax.
Sanitize with solution: 1 part vinegar and 4 parts water, air dry after.
